It powerfully churns through double batches of cookie dough and yeast dough with ease.

Durably made for commercial-style use, with a direct drive, all-steel gear transmission that delivers unyielding power for professional results. To help protect the motor, it has an internal sensor that shuts the mixer off if it becomes overloaded. An electronic speed sensor monitors the operation to maintain precise mixer speed from start to finish. The all-metal stand mixer is powered by a 450-watt motor and comes with a 5-quart capacity, stainless steel bowl with a wide mouth and sturdy handle.

The beater has a 67-point planetary mixing action -- it spirals to 67 different touch points within the bowl for quick, complete mixing, a feat no other stand mixer in the industry can match. As far as versatility, the Professional 5 Series stand mixer ranks high with 10 speeds (from very high to a very low stir), a Soft Start feature that helps prevent splattering of wet ingredients or "puffing" of dry ingredients, and a collection of accessories. The accessories include a PowerKnead spiral dough hook, a stainless steel wire whip and a dishwasher-safe, nylon-coated flat beater and dough hook. On the front of this stand mixer's motor head is a multi-purpose attachment hub that lets you add even more attachments (sold separately).
